Acceptance of terms
Welcome to OneMail. By accessing or using our website, SMTP testing platform or SMTP API services, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.
Our services
OneMail provides an online SMTP testing platform that enables users to verify SMTP email configurations and troubleshoot email delivery issues without requiring an account.
We also provide a paid SMTP API that allows developers, businesses and website owners to send emails programmatically from their websites, applications and backend services using simple HTTP requests.
Acceptable use
You agree to use OneMail only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
You must not use our services to send unsolicited emails, spam, phishing messages, malware, fraudulent communications or any content that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
Any attempt to abuse, disrupt, overload or interfere with the operation or security of the platform is strictly prohibited.
SMTP testing service
Our SMTP testing platform processes the SMTP credentials and email content you provide solely for the purpose of attempting to send a test email and generating diagnostic information. Temporary debug logs may be generated as described in our privacy policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use the SMTP credentials supplied during testing.
SMTP API subscription
Access to the SMTP API is available through paid plans. Subscription options may include recurring monthly plans or one time purchases that provide API access for an extended period.
Your subscription grants you a limited, non exclusive and non transferable licence to use the API for your own applications and services during the active subscription period.
Pricing and subscription changes
We may introduce new subscription plans or modify pricing for future subscription periods. Any pricing changes will not affect an active subscription and will only apply upon renewal or the purchase of a new plan.
Payments and refunds
All payments made towards SMTP API subscriptions are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
You are responsible for ensuring that the selected subscription plan meets your requirements before completing your purchase.
Service availability
We make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain a target uptime of 99.9% for the paid SMTP API. While we continuously monitor and improve our infrastructure, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
If downtime is determined to be within our reasonable control, compensation may be provided in the form of additional API subscription time or service credits. Such compensation is our sole remedy and will not be provided as monetary refunds.
API restrictions
You may integrate the SMTP API into your own websites, applications and services. However, you may not:
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute the API as a standalone service.
- Share your API access with unauthorised third parties.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, bypass or interfere with the security or operation of the API.
- Use the API for spam, phishing or unlawful activities.
Rate limiting
To ensure platform stability and fair usage, OneMail may impose request limits, connection limits or other technical restrictions on both the SMTP testing platform and the SMTP API. These limits may be adjusted at any time without prior notice.
Email content and compliance
You are solely responsible for all emails, attachments and content transmitted using OneMail, whether through the free SMTP testing platform or the paid SMTP API.
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to electronic communications, anti-spam requirements, privacy and data protection within your jurisdiction.
Suspension and termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any part of our services, including the SMTP API, where we reasonably believe these terms of service have been violated or where continued access may affect the security, stability or reputation of the platform.
Suspension or termination due to a breach of these Terms does not entitle you to any refund or compensation.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless OneMail, its owners, employees and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs or expenses arising out of your use of our services, your violation of these Terms of Service or your infringement of any applicable law or third party rights.
Limitation of liability
OneMail is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranty that our services will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every use case.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneMail, its owners, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, loss of data, email delivery failures or any other damages arising from the use of, inability to use, or reliance upon our services, whether free or paid.
You acknowledge that you use our services entirely at your own risk and are solely responsible for maintaining backups, verifying email delivery and protecting your own systems and data.
Force majeure
OneMail shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, war, internet or telecommunications failures, power outages, cyber attacks or failures of third party infrastructure.
Changes to these Terms
These terms of service may be updated from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes have been published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These terms of service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms of service or the use of OneMail shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Gangtok, Sikkim, India.
